About LeAnne Sowa
"LeAnne Sowa - Watercolorist/ Fine Artist" LeAnne (Mawby) Sowa is a Western Michigan fine artist who moved to Arizona in December of 2021. At an early age she discovered her passion for art. Every chance she had she would be drawing in a sketch pad or on a piece of paper. Her favorite mediums soon became watercolor, graphite pencil and Pen and Ink. To hone her skills, LeAnne took every drawing class in high school including mechanical drafting. Later studies included painting classes with Nancy Fox at Montcalm Community College, classes at the Fransican Center under June Berte, Cheri Den Boer and Linda Baker.
